According to HBA Global Expo, the IPDA awards are the longest running package design awards in the beauty industry. More than 16,000 beauty and personal care professionals from all over the world will be able to view the IPDA finalists up close and get inspiration for their future packaging design plans.

“Packaging plays a significant role in our industry, and its aesthetics, engineering, and design can make or break a product. Manufacturers know the power packaging has on impulse buys, brand loyalty, and influencing the purchasing decision,” said Jill Birkett, event director of HBA Global Expo.

“HBA is honored to be able to recognize the year’s most innovative and creative packaging design and celebrate products that are truly exceptional in their categories.”

IPDA submissions will be evaluated on the following criteria: originality, design concept, creative use of new materials, components and decorating processes, technical competency and effective brand messaging.
